Last week we finished up a project in Prineville that is worth talking about.  When we showed up my crew began to do the prep work.  Things like removing peeling paint, priming, and caulking.  While this was going on I began to talk with the home owner about what colors she had chosen for the house.  We took a look at the samples she had painted on the house and as we talked I could tell she wasn't very confident in the color she had chosen.

For me this is a big red flag.  I want the owner to love the way there house looks, this means we don't settle for a color that is just ok.  I noticed that the yellows she chose for the body color where green based.  So I asked her "It looks you are choosing yellows that are green based, is that what you are going for?"  She said "no, I want a yellow that is buttery."  That is what I needed hear in order to help her choose the perfect color.  She chose a Pittsburgh Paint Color called "Sausalito".  This yellow was more golden and buttery.
